About

Dr. Wellum has practiced total body rehabilitation through chiropractic care and the application of proven scientific procedures since 1983. His extensive training and practical background are key factors in the care found at Wellum Chiropractic Clinic. His approach has been greatly influenced by his graduate degree in Nutrition Science and his long involvement in athletics. As the founder of the “10 Weeks to Total Fitness Program,” he annually helps hundreds of people achieve a higher level of wellness.

Dr. Wellum is among a select group of Chiropractic Sports Specialists as a Fellow, Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada). He is registered with Sport Canada to treat provincial, national and international “carded” athletes, and is also a certified Sports First Responder (healthcare provider).

After completing a degree in Human Biology and a master’s degree in Science (Nutrition), Dr. Wellum graduated (cum laude) from the National College of Chiropractic (now National University of Health Sciences) in Chicago. He is licensed with the Acupuncture Council of Ontario, Contemporary Acupuncture Association (McMaster University), Canadian and Ontario Chiropractic Associations, Chiropractic Council of Ontario, Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB), Active Release Technique (ART), and Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Assessment Treatment (Graston).
